I’m heading downtown to drop off Jim at a “lock-up” — a recording space where you don’t have to haul in your equipment every time. You bring it in and lock it up and the space is yours any time of the day or night to raise a ruckus.

If all goes well they’ll be on the next Tiny Desk.

A DTLA warehouse district sojourn at this odd hour calls for jeans/boots/peacoat. Looks good, and nothing’s too precious. Shoes you can run in.

How could “Boondock Saints” have given me this uniform lo these many years ago when I watched it just last week for the first time? No matter.
